GoVision was honored to assist with the festivities of the recent 55th Presidential Inauguration in Washington D.C. GoVision screens and trucks were a key component in two very special events.

GoVision had two 17' x 23' LED screens flanking each side of the main stage at the Celebration of Freedom gathering at the Ellipse of the White House. This list of performers included Kenny Chesney, the Gatlin Brothers, the Temptations, Kristin Chenoweth and the Radio City Rockettes.

GoVision set up five jumbo LED screens at the 55th Oath of Office Ceremony on the steps of the Capitol Building. With two screens on either side of the stage and three more spaced evenly down the Mall, the estimated 250,000 in attendance were given an upclose perspective on the historic proceedings.
"In the whole scheme of things, GoVision is still a relatively new kid on the block," said Chris Curtis, president of GoVision. "As such, we were extremely thrilled and honored to be able to participate in such a historical event."
New Year's Day is the preminent afternoon for college football, and GoVision teamed up with the Fiesta Bowl to make sure fans at their tailgate party were able to keep up with all the nonstop gridiron action. At College Football's Biggest Party, two GoVision trucks were brought in to show live games from around the nation, including the dramatic Rose Bowl ending.

"From start to finish, everything worked out great," said Patrick Cannon, Marketing Manager for the Fiesta Bowl. "We had two GO BIG units at our event and the crowd loved it!"

Over 30,000 die-hard fans attended the Party, which included pep rallies and and music performed by both the Utah and Pittsburgh marching bands. With their versatility and top-quality screens, the GoVision vehicles have created a niche as the Tailgate Entertainers, appearing on numerous campuses of the nation's top programs on game day, including Tennessee and Oklahoma.
A tradition since 1937, Daytona Bike Week is enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts annually. This spring, A&E Entertainment used this festival setting to unveil and premier a new reality series.

Knievel's Wild Ride features the extraordinary exploits of the son of Evil Knievel and gives an unfiltered look into the day-to-day life of our generation's greatest daredevil.

A GoVision truck was brought in to showcase the new show, and the event was a big hit as crowds surrounded the screen to see the show's premier.

"We wanted to use Daytona Bike Week to launch the Robbie Knievel show," said Sean Downes of Strategic Sports Group. "We wanted to have a premier screening of the show and looked at different indoor venues and theaters. We found a huge park just outside Daytona and came up with the idea of bringing in a screen."

"We had an incredible experience with GoVision. They're really professional from top to bottom. We look forward to working with them in the future with other clients."
Looking to create a unique splash for the groundbreaking of a highrise in Miami, Deco Productions turned to GoVision for a massive Video Wall. The 32' high by 18' wide LED Video Wall at the location of the Plaza on Brickell was a definite attention grabber, despite the stormy conditions.

"It went great success," said Kenny Miller, Technical Director for Deco Productions. "It was the only element of the event that I didn't worry about because it rained constantly and the venue was one giant mud pit. We were having problems with everything except the video. Their screen is billed as being waterproof and water resistant, and it definitely proved itself at that job. If we had gone with a conventional screen, we would have been stuck, because the rain would have hit and we wouldn't have been able to do the video."

"The screen was super bright and made a huge impression," Miller added. "It made a big impact and even created traffic congestion on the main road as people stopped to see what was going on. We used an unusual screen shape that was much higher than wide. The reason we did that was because the client wanted to emulate a building. The GoVision equipment was wonderful and the LED screen worked flawlessly.

"They went above and beyond, because they happened to have a truck in the area and gave us use of it. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone."
GoVision provided a large cutting-edge set backdrop for ABC and their popular TV show, The View, when they were doing a live taping recently at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.

ABC used the non-conventional shape as a part of their set and decoration, and the screen was used to showcase graphics as well as the show's special guests. The week of shows guest list included all of the Desperate Housewives, Jay Leno, Jim Belushi, and Patricia Heaton.
With the Nascar Nation in Las Vegas for the UAW DaimlerChrysler 400, QVC turned to GoVision for a video wall for their "For Race Fans Only" telecast. The event was held at Harrah's Las Vegas in their Carnival Court. GoVision built a video wall for the backdrop of the "For Race Fans Only" show. Rusty Wallace and Jamie McMurray were the guests.

"The screen looked great on camera and provided a fantastic backdrop for QVC's For Race Fans Only show," said Patrick J. Cunningham, Production Manager for QVC Remote Productions. "The live audience, talent and millions of viewers at home got to see close-ups, track and driver profiles and taped packages through the screen. It added a visual element we had never used before to the show and I plan to use it again when the opportunity presents itself."

"The event went very well. I had a tight timeline due to the stage being used either side of our show and GoVision got the 9x12 screen in and out faster than expected," Cunningham continued. "QVC Remote Productions has also used identical screens mounted on GoVisions 'GoBig' trucks and have had similar positive results. Everyone at GoVision is great to work with."
