From the Major League Baseball Playoffs to the world's most prestigious event in thoroughbred racing, GoVision was constantly on the move this fall. These October highlights showcase GoVision's flexibility in servicing a multitude of events including concerts, sporting events, corporate events, fundraisers and even live television.

As a gift to their employees, AMD hosted a concert featuring the Los Lonely Boys at the Backyard in Austin. GoVision provided live video for this special event.

GoVison played a part in the biggest sporting events in the Lone Star State, including the historic playoff push of Roger Clements and the Houston Astros. At the Red River Shootout, GoVision was involved with the Texas vs OU tailgate at the West End in Dallas, as well as outside the Cotton Bowl for Dodge on game day.

At the Ride for the Roses, GoVision was on location in Austin for the special charity race that raised more than $6 million for the Lance Armstrong Foundation programs and grants. More than 8,000 donors, volunteers and survivors from around the world painted the town yellow during this special weekend which included a Sheryl Crow performance and numerous celebrities such as Will Ferrell.

Other fundraising events included the Race for the Cure in Little Rock, the sixth largest in the nation.

While at a celebration of the Susan G. Komen Foundation's work for breast cancer at Dallas City Hall, GoVision provided a background screen for ABC and their popular TV show, The View, which was doing a live taping. ABC used GoVision's D10 tiles as a part of their set and decoration, and the screen was used to showcase graphics as well as the show's special guests. A picture of this screen and set was prominently shown on the front page of the Dallas Morning News the next day accompanying a feature article.

"The screen was amazing and everyone was very impressed," said the show's producer, Linda Finson of ABC Daytime Television. "Your guys were very good and very professional. It was a pleasure to do business with you and hope we can work together again soon."
Later in the month, two GoVision technicians made the Dallas Morning News front page while photographed running across the track at the Breeder's Cup. GoVision was the screen vendor for this World Series of Horse Racing, which capped off the memorable October. Seven mobile and stationary screens were spread out strategically around the track to display the event, with the company's newest unit, GoBigger, being the centerpiece.

Are You Ready For Some Football?
GoVision was on the run during the opening weekend of college football, enhancing the fans' game experience at four nationally-televised games - UNLV at Tennessee, Northwestern at TCU, Nevada at Louisiana Tech, and Bowling Green at Oklahoma. All four home teams were victorious on the gridiron.

At Knoxville, the GoBig truck was placed at the Calhouns on the River micro-brewery, which is located directly across from Neyland Stadium. Advertising spots were sold on the GoBig screen and the first-time venture was very successful, as three more upcoming football weekends were immediately scheduled.

Louisiana Tech used GoVision as their in-stadium jumbotron screen, providing replays and stats to fans throughout the game.
GoVision Enhances College Game Day Atmosphere
GoVision brings more to sporting events than just video replays.

In Norman, Oklahoma, GoVision continued to enhance the game day atmosphere in several ways for the second consecutive season. The national championship contending Sooners utilize GoBig at several locations, including the broadcast of a live post-game television show with the coaches at Campus Corner.

"We have a Fan Fest event that begins three hours before kickoff where we have food vendors and interactive games for kids as well as autograph sessions with former All-Americans," said Jason Booker of Sooner Sports Properties. "We've placed GoVision in that area and shown other games around the country. It's provided us a good avenue to sell some commercial time on the screen as well as signage around the truck."

"After kickoff, they quickly relocate to Campus Corner and are usually set up by the second quarter. Fans that don't have tickets gather there and watch the game in a fun atmosphere, and then stay for the coaches show. GoVision provides another hook to bring fans to Campus Corner after the game. OU likes to be on the cutting-edge and be the first to do new things, and working with GoVision has been a great experience for us."

GoVision also adds to the excitement at TCU's Frog Alley festivities.

"We have found that GoVision is an outstanding attraction for fans visiting Frog Alley before the game," noted Jeff Crane, TCU's Director of Sports Marketing. "Being able to watch college football games around the country on a huge screen adds significant value to the fan experience."
GoVision Brings You Up Close and Personal
At the recent Texas State Fair, GoVision built a 9' x 12' Screen as the backdrop for the National Encounters Bird Show, a popular exhibit which ran during the entire state fair.

"It worked out great," said Wouter Stellaard, a trainer with Natural Encounters. "We were able to put part of our show on their screen. We were in a big theater that held about 5000 people, and the birds are pretty small, so what we did was put the big screen up in the backdrop. It definitely created a better experience for the people in the back."

Natural Encounters found that GoVision not only provided an effective turnkey solution, but also was there providing on-location service every step of the way.

"We just had to turn it on in the morning and back off at night, and if anything was wrong, their guys were there to help in two seconds. It was great for us."
GoVision Helps Dallas HBA Attract Record Crowd
Not only does GoVision provide video solutions for events, but their marketing expertise and mobile units can be utilized to create attention and increase attendance.

The Dallas Home Builders Association attracted record crowds at the Parade of Homes this year, including their largest single day and full-event attendance. GoVision was used as an advertising tool through out the metroplex to draw in crowds for the events. The company really enjoys working with local businesses, building relationships and developing unique advertising campaigns. The Dallas Home Builders Associated showed that working with GoVision can be a real eye-catcher.
